There was a great turnout at Chetty Red this Wednesday. Plenty of people to dance with, including some new faces, and yet still plenty of room to dance. The evening was also notable for a PinkTop sighting. When last seen, PinkTop, a pink Danskin racer back tank top with inner molded contour cup bra and black piping (style 5277, $38.00) that is made from 60% cotton, 35% nylon and 5% lycra spandex, was being displayed by Robert Royston, the 4 time US Open Swing champion. PinkTop has also been glimpsed in London at the Royal Ballet, and at The 100 Club, as well as on an Air France flight to Paris. This time we got the fabulous Swing teacher Autumn Bear to wear PinkTop during the revelries at Chetty Red. She was assisted by the dapper Erik Novoa, who was wearing a shirt from the Gap. You can see from the expressions on their faces that they are very happy to be dancing. We figure that part of that happiness is attributable to PinkTop. Not only do Danskin tops make the wearer happy, they make their dance partners happy too. You can see from the pictures that the other dancers this evening were happy too, just not as happy. Well made clothing, like pancakes, will tend to make people happy.
