The London Swing Dance Society (www.swingdanceuk.com) put on a high energy party with the South London Jazz Orchestra (www.sljo.org.uk) at The 100 Club (www.the100club.co.uk). Admission is Ten Pounds. The show was worth the price of admission. I arrived late (having been to the ballet first), and it was still worth the price. The club was full with many people dancing their heart out to a very large band. The lively sound filled the room. I had a great time, and as can be seen from the pictures, everyone else did too. Definitely put swing dancing at The 100 Club on your list of things to do while in London. The event starts at 7:45 pm with a lesson.

The 100 Club stays open late, but keep in mind that the Tube stops running at 00:30 am or so. On the other hand, the trains are quieter than in New York and the seats are cushioned.
