It was night number 2 of the new Thursday night West Coast Swing party. Robert Royston, multiple national swing champion, new dad and techno-geek, taught a really cool whip that had what was almost a Tango fan embedded in the middle of it. The turn out tonight was very respectable, but there was still room for more, so next month (June 10 - John Lindo guest DJ) come on down. The Shag Team showed up and gave a rousing performance. As is typical with West Coast Swing, everyone from beginners to seasoned pros showed up. One of the pros dancing with zest was the ever radiant Ligaya Fish. She was wearing a simple, yet elegant, dress that showed off her classic lines and her husband's good taste (if I heard the conversation correctly, he bought it for her).

"Dancing at 1050 is so great!" (Actually, I don't know what was being said, but it looks emphatic.)
