(February 16, 2004 — Los Angeles) Produced by SCOTT HAMILTON and conceived and directed by CHRISTOPHER DEAN, the incomparable showmanship and synergy of two Olympic legends has re-charged, re-wired, and re-loaded the Emmy award-winning SMUCKER’S STARS ON ICEâ for its March 4, 2004 performance at Madison Square Garden in New York. The show’s 2004 U.S. touring season which began January 2, promises to deliver what is sure to be one of the most theatrical, truly inspired productions ever presented in the 18 year history of America’s most prestigious figure skating tour.

Always artistic visionaries, Hamilton and Dean have created the thought-provoking show theme of "TIME" for the all-new 2004 season. With infinite meanings through the use of specially designed lighting and sound effects, visual images, words and music, and innovative choreography, "TIME" promises to propel the audience into a myriad of emotional "moments" that are sure to last forever.

Contributing to the "re-charging" of the production is Emmy award winner and seven-time Emmy nominee Jef Billings who will not only, once again, create the show’s spectacular costumes, but has joined the creative team of Hamilton and Dean as Associate Director. Jamie Isley (Assistant Choreographer for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games at Salt Lake City) has been set to choreograph with Dean, and the distinguished award-winning Roy Bennett returns as Lighting Designer.

Headlining the 2004 season is, as always, an extraordinary cast of figure skating’s most revered stars including 2002 Olympic Gold medalist and skating phenom ALEXEI YAGUDIN, world-renowned 2002 Olympic Pair Champions JAMIE SALÉ & DAVID PELLETIER of Canada and ELENA BEREZHNAYA & ANTON SIKHARULIDZE of Russia, and World Champion and six-time U.S. National Champion TODD ELDREDGE. Also returning to the production is World Champion YUKA SATO, World Silver medalists and three-time U.S. National Pair Champions JENNI MENO & TODD SAND, and World Bronze medalists and three-time U.S. National Pair Champions KYOKO INA & JOHN ZIMMERMAN.

Madison Square Garden will also host four very Special Guest Stars: four-time U.S. National Champion, four-time World Champion and Olympic Gold medalist SCOTT HAMILTON, along with Olympic Champion and two-time World Champion KRISTI YAMAGUCHI and Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion OKSANA BAIUL (both who make their much anticipated return to skating on tour in this year’s production,) and four-time Grammy Award nominee and popular recording artist MICHAEL FEINSTEIN.
